White Chocolate Blondies

Okay, okay – I know… I’ve been posting lots of dessert recipes, but that’s only because we’ve had lots of goodies to make for friends lately. Some were for birthdays, “thank yous”, babies, and “just because” treats. And who am I kidding? We just like desserts at our house, so we’ll take any excuse to make them. 😉

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Melt butter and ½ cup of the white chocolate chips in a microwave, checking every 15 seconds. Let cool
  2. Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla extract in a medium bowl. Mix in the cooled butter and chocolate mixture along with the flour and salt. Stir until combined. Pour the batter into a 9x13 greased baking pan; sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup white chocolate chips.
